Sex is quite important for humanity as it is one of the easiest ways for us to experience the energy of Love, which is not actually an emotion as it would logically seem.  Channeled entities say that experiencing love is like briefly tapping in to the energy of god/source/oneness.

As a species moves higher into density sex becomes less important as that sensation of love & oneness is experienced more frequently in other areas of life.
